[Announcement] Finalist Selection Results for the 16th e-ICON World Contest

Dear Participants of the 16th e-ICON World Contest,

Greetings from the Korea Digital Education Frontier Association (KEFA).

Thank you for your enthusiastic participation in the preliminary round.

This year, a total of 252 teams from Korea and overseas submitted their applications for the 16th e-ICON World Contest. After a fair evaluation of the submitted app development proposals, 20 teams in total — 10 Korean teams and 10 overseas teams — have been selected to advance to the Final Round.

Finalist notification emails have been sent individually only to the teams selected for the Final Round via the email addresses registered during the application process.
Teams that received the finalist notification email are requested to carefully review the email and prepare for the upcoming schedule.

We would also like to express our appreciation to all participants who were not selected for the Final Round. Your creativity, ideas, and efforts are greatly valued, and we hope you will continue to show interest in the e-ICON World Contest.

The Final Round will be conducted in a hybrid format, including both online and offline programs. Finalist teams will be matched into global teams and collaborate with students from different countries to further develop their projects. Mentoring support will also be provided to facilitate effective international collaboration.

• Announcement of Global Team Matching Results: July 3, 2026 (Fri)
• Online Final Round: July 7, 2026 (Mon) – August 1, 2026 (Sat)
• Offline Final Round: August 3, 2026 (Mon) – August 8, 2026 (Sat)
• Final Evaluation and Award Ceremony: August 8, 2026 (Sat)

Further details for finalist teams will be sent individually via email. Please make sure to check your email regularly.
