Korea Digital Education Frontier Association (KEFA) officially invites future leaders in SW and SDGs to the 12th e-ICON World Contest.

e-ICON World Contest is an international SW contest where students can collaborate and compete with other intelligent teams from Korea and other countries.

※ Invited countries for participation in the 12th e-ICON Contest: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Laos, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam

Applicants have to submit required documents (Application Form, Recommendation Letter, Project Proposal) to the organizer's email: eicon.kefa@gmail.com. All applicant teams must consist of 2 students and 1 teacher. Each student should submit his/her application document but the project proposal has to be written in collaboration with team members. For more information about the application, please take a look at the notice page.

During the preliminaries, all participants can strengthen their ICT abilities and knowledge of SDGs, receiving online courses to prepare for the finals. Then, they will form global teams with Korean teams to collaborate on the finals.

Teams who advanced to the finals of the contest will receive communication (language) support, technical mentoring, and ICT devices such as Bluetooth earphones & wireless chargers with sterilization. Furthermore, winners will be awarded certificates of merits and grand prizes with great honor.

지원자들은 필요서류(지원서, 추천서, 프로젝트 제안서)를 e-ICON 공식 메일 계정으로 송부해야 합니다. 모든 팀은 2명의 학생 및 1명의 지도 교사로 구성됩니다. 지원 서류는 학생 개인 별로 작성하여야 하며, 프로젝트 제안서는 팀 구성원들이 협업하여 작성되어야 합니다. 지원 관련 구체적인 내용 확인을 위해서는, 관련 공지를 확인해 주십시오.

예선 기간 동안, 모든 참가자들은 온라인 교육을 통해 본선 진출을 위한 ICT 역량과 SDGs에 대한 지식 강화에 참여하게 됩니다. 그리고 나서, 이들은 한국 팀과 국제 팀을 이루어 본선에 진출합니다.

본선 진출 팀들은 통역 지원 및 기술 멘토링은 물론 블루투스 이어폰과 무선 충전기와 같은 ICT 장치를 지원 받습니다. 더불어, 우승자들은 상장과 상품을 수여 받는 명예를 안게 됩니다.
