Planning My Problem Solving App (UI design)
week 3 "Define the problem" to plan your own problem-solving app
Investigate if the singularity you derived persists

– What if the singularities you identified in the previous class persist? Consider the advantages and disadvantages of each of the singularities you identified in the phenomena related to SDGs 8 & 11 if they persist.
Pick two of the singularities you identified in the previous class and think about the advantages and disadvantages of their persistence.
Reasoning about the cause of an singularity

– What do we need to do to define the problem? We need to reason about the causes of the singularities (the good, the bad, and the weird) that we’ve identified, because considering the causes of the singularities allows us to define a problem that we can solve. Let’s try to reason about the causes of the singularities we wrote about earlier.
Define the problem by considering the pros and cons of outliers and their causes

– Consider the causes of that singularity and define it as a problem you want to solve, or a way to extend the positive aspects of the singularity or overcome the negative aspects.
The value of solving the problem you defined

– Let’s discuss in detail the value (economic value, social value, educational value, etc.) of solving the problem we defined earlier.
<Example>
It’s valuable because it reduces the burden of additional travel expenses by allowing various domestic tourists to share items they use at a destination, and it increases the attractiveness of domestic travel by sharing experiences at a destination, which can increase the number of domestic travelers.
In addition, you can use local tourism products, accommodations, restaurants, etc. and revitalize the local economy by taking advantage of the points you get when registering, renting, or returning travel items.
